As the district enters a high-risk season, First Responder leadership has outlined updated operational priorities for suppression, EMS, prevention, and emergency communications. Residents can expect a stronger emphasis on rapid situational awareness, coordinated messaging, and pre-incident planning for neighborhoods with higher wildfire, storm, and access concerns.
The command team also announced a series of public briefings so residents can better understand how evacuation notices, incident updates, and mutual aid coordination work during large-scale emergencies.
